Due to launch in February, Windows 8 beta will change a lot of things in Windows. One of the new features is the ability to "refresh" your computer without losing data or programs. This will enable users to do a fast cleanup and remove downloaded programs, spyware, etc.

The power of personalization is something we all love about PCs, but sometimes there is good reason to want to roll back to an earlier state. Most consumer electronics devices today can be reset to some factory state, and so we built this capability into Windows 8 too.
